Hasan Cenk Dereli is a PhD architect whose creative output ranges from radio programming, design research, music and event organization. While working on architectural events and design ideas, he also focuses on urban politics and urban creativity. Dereli completed his PhD at Istanbul Technical University in 2017, evaluating Izmir's goal of becoming a design city within the scope of UNESCO Creative Cities Network Design City criteria. Since 2013, he has been organizing PechaKucha Night Izmir, which brings together over one hundred and ninety inspiring people from more than twenty different creative fields with curious urbanites. She manages her own brand NOBON, focusing on architectural ideas and events. She produces artworks based on drawing and architectural installation. His drawings were awarded at the Moscow Architecture Biennale in 2018, and his installation “Forced Migration” at the Nif Vineyards in Kemalpaşa, Izmir was awarded at the Bucharest Triennial in 2019.
