Dr. Osman Demirbaş at Milano Design Week
Design leaders of the world met In the panel themed “Designing Spaces Changing Lives” at the event IFI@Salone organized by International Federation of Interior Architects – IFI and Scacchetti Associati Architecture Studio within the scope of Milano Design Week. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgen Osman Demirbaş, a lecturer in the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at Izmir University of Economics (IUE) and an IFI Ambassador, was one of the six invited speakers at the panel.
Dr. Demirbaş representing both IUE and the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB) highlighted the importance of addressing sociological, environmental and economic factors in contemporary interior architecture education. Dr. Demirbaş also emphasized the significance of educating intellectual young designers with high sensitivity, high awareness and skills to touch human life in a positive sense.
