Design Talks Fall '21 continues with Dr. Saurabh Tewari
Design Talks, organized by the Department of Industrial Design, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design; Izmir University of Economics., proceeds with Saurabh Tewari’s talk entitled as “Beyond Eameses: The unfolding of Post-colonial Design in India” next week. Moderated and organized by Assistant Professor Esra Bici Nasır, Tewari’s talk will take place online via the Zoom application on 23rd of November at 17:00 (Izmir) and 19:30 (Bhobal). * Saurabh Tewari, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal. He studied B. Arch (2003-08, SSAA Gurgaon) and M. Des (2008-10, IDC IIT Bombay). He obtained a doctorate in Design from the IIT Kanpur in 2021 for his thesis "Design Paradigms: A Post-colonial Design History of India". Saurabh interests lie in Culture-oriented Design, Design History and Studies. He has co-edited India's first publication on the emerging field of Landscape Urbanism, Blue Lines of Kolkata (2017). Currently, he teaches Visual Communication and Design Studies courses.
