Design id
The typeface used for the Symposium identity (print) is FF Tisa.
Designed by Mitja Miklavčič, FF Tisa was initially created in 2006 to fulfill the requirements for the MA in Typeface Design, University of Reading, Department of Typography and Graphic Communication and selected by the TDC judges to receive the Certificate of Excellence in Type Design for 2007.
FF Tisa was primarily created for use in various magazines that are either printed by web-fed offset or gravure printing techniques. Nevertheless, the typeface can also be successfully used in other printed media, such as newspapers, annual reports etc.

The Symposium promotion was assigned to 2nd-year VCD 202 students as their 4th Semester Project. The final poster design is the result of a combination of 3 works by:
KARDELEN AYSEL
ARDA YARAŞ
ERTUĞRUL TUNALI
Also, among the selected works is the commemoration concept by AYSU SANI for the late Anna Czubilińska, a design student from Poland, who intended to join this event with her work on Balkan travel guides.
There will be a poster exhibition with student works on the 4th floor, D Block.
The selection of the poster designs was a difficult task for the jury members. Fulya Ertem and Marina Emmanouil (VCD 202 instructors) would like to thank all 2nd-year students (listed below) for the creative and contextualized design solutions, as well as for their commitment, enthusiasm and sensitivity.
