Balkan Locus-Focus: long 20th century communication design histories. 29–30 June 2012, Izmir, Turkey. This is the first attempt to comprehensively map visual communication in commercial and non-commercial contexts, in the socio-political and mental territories of the Balkans/Southeastern Europe.

The symposium program will run under 3 SESSION types, which will be open to participation of design historians, researchers and visual communication designers. These are: PPS: Paper Presentation Sessions / AWS: Academic Workshop Sessions / DPPS: Design Practice Presentation Sessions.
